Biography

Carter Elvis Robinson is the founding member of The Certs. After writing and recording his first EP "Here Today Gone Tomorrow", he then set about putting the band together. Based in Surrey, it wasn't long before the rest of the band fell into place and before you knew it, the band were playing sell out gigs in the local area. Their raw energy is made up of a rock punk vibe, bringing a refreshing sound of rock n roll back to the masses.

STORY SO FAR ...

From forming back in September 2024, its been nothing short of a whirlwind for The Certs. Playing sell out gigs at The Boileroom in Guildford, to a number of gigs at the Purple Turtle in Reading. Acoustic Lounge, and a sell out set in Portsmouth Back to the Belgrave. Not only did Carter appear in the current Bridget Jones Movie, but The Certs also had a song featured in the film. The boys have appeared as themselves in a short film as part of a You Tube series which will be out in September, which looks at the music industry in the 00's. The band have just returned from playing a set at this year's Lakefest festival, with more gigs penned in for the rest of the year.
The first three singles have been featured on BBC Introducing and a with a set in the BBC Live lounge in a few weeks, the future is certainly looking good for The Certs.
